Salary: Base pay with commission upwards of $100,000 annually

Schlosser Signs is a Women owned custom Sign company located in Loveland, Co. We design, manufacture, and install custom signage. We have been in business for 24 years and are continuing to grow as a full-service provider all over northern Colorado. We are looking for a Service Technician to help our company become an industry leader in quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary: We are looking for a Sales Representative that develops relationships and provides a consultative role. The Sales Representative achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration. Company provided leads as well as self-generated leads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and other prospecting behaviors.
  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Submits design requests to design team and present design packet to customer.
  • Obtain quotes from estimating department and negotiates prices and terms of sales agreements with customer.
  • Prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and submits orders for processing.
  • Works with project management team when appropriate.
  • Conducts follow-up customer visits to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and assists in customers’ employee training to operate and maintain new equipment when necessary.
  • Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, general contractors, management, other key personnel).
  • Participates in company-sponsored weekly meetings to review sales performance, sales goals, and profitability.
  • Maintains customer records using automated systems.
  • Maintain professional behavior in and out of the work environment regarding staff, vendors, and clients always. This includes emails, phone calls, written documents, meetings etc. that are representative of the company.
  • Must dress professionally when in the office or meeting with clients.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by the sales manager.
  • Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from the sales manager.
  • Attend safety and company-wide meetings as required.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Solid organizational skills; able to multi-task and complete requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems.
  • CRM system similar to Salesforce, SmartSheet.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel for local and regional customers. Possible overnight travel for networking and tradeshows will be required.
  • Experience in construction, signage, or architectural material sales.
  • Proven sales success of over 500K.
  • Time Management—Managing one’s own time and reporting accurately.
  • Must possess superior problem solving, analytical, negotiation and communications skills.
  • Display a “passion to win” by always operating with a positive can-do attitude and being a team player.
  • 2-5+ years of Sales experience is preferred.
